Stuff to Rent on Daytona Beach
I get LOTS of questions from guests about where they can rent things on Daytona Beach.
The truth is that beach vendors are in front of most of the busy resorts, (although, they are not always busy… )
we were at Ocean Walk this day and truly, this is the busiest location on the beach. Remember too, that this is a no-drive section of the beach, so you will not see ATVs or golf carts on this section of the beach, although they are available for rent at other sections of the beach.
You will see the rental beach trailer….. errr.. ummm… WOW… Sorry….not sure what I was thinking….
There you go… the beach trailer, filled with everything you could possibly need at the beach.
Sorry, Daytona Beach is non-driving in front of Ocean Walk, no golf carts or ATVS… only Bikes are avaialble on this part of the beach.
These recumbant bikes are very popular…they are like Big Wheels without the ability to skid… I was born too late for a Big Wheel….it has haunted me my whole life.
You see kids rolling around on these all day long…
Along with umbrealls and lounge chairs. We were in town in April during one of the busiest weeks and the umbrealls were $40/day and you had to reserve EARLY or all would be rented.
In the distance – you can see the beached water slide… the kids love this slide !!
In addition to the beach vendors, you can find food vendors, and Tiki Bars open along the beach. You are not going to have a problem finding Ice Cream, Boogie Boards or a Cocktail while walking along the Daytona Beach ….

Love your blog! Do you know, is there any place on the beach that sells sugar-free sno-cones or healthy-type food? My granddaughter is allergic to: grains, oils except sunflower, palm and olive, dairy, refined sugars, bananas, potatoes, soy, processed meats, and uses mostly sea salt. If we could find someplace that sold sugar-free sno-cones or drinks we could sweeten with Stevia or Splenda, it would be a great help.
Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to provide.
